Sarah is originally from the UK and has been working in the funeral profession since 2001. From an early age, she knew she wanted to pursue a career in funeral service, and she began her journey as a funeral arranger. In this role, she gained valuable knowledge and experience by supporting bereaved families, finding great satisfaction in helping people during such a crucial time in their lives.

In December 2012, Sarah enrolled in the British Institute of Embalmers course, where she dedicated herself to further developing her skills and knowledge. Her hard work and commitment were recognised when she earned her Diploma in Embalming in June 2015, a milestone that marked an important step forward in her professional career.

In April 2016, Sarah relocated to Wellington with her husband Matt and their dog, Gabby. She initially joined The Wilson Funeral Home as an embalmer and, over the years, progressed through various positions within the team. Now, in her role as a Funeral Director, Sarah applies her many years of experience to provide compassionate guidance and gentle care to the families she serves.
