Eva grew up on Auckland’s West Coast, with Muriwai Beach right in her backyard. Coming from a long line of nurses, she recognised from a young age that she wanted to work in a role that involved caring for others.

Eva earned a Bachelor of Arts with majors in Psychology and English from Massey University. Her passion for learning and helping others led her to the funeral industry in 2014. In 2024, she obtained a New Zealand Diploma in Funeral Directing.

Outside of work, Eva enjoys hiking adventures and paddling with the Pōneke Watersports Dragon Boat Club. She also loves cooking, sewing, and reading. Additionally, she actively participates in cookathons for Bellyful Wellington South, a charity that is close to her heart.
