In 1992, we introduced the first private bus service to Mākara Cemetery. This service operates on the third Wednesday of each month and provides a convenient way for those wishing to visit the cemetery.

There is time at the cemetery for remembrance and personal reflection before the journey back. This service is particularly helpful for those who may not have access to private transport.
